Helsinkistraße elementary school, Munich Riem

MRG Maßnahmeträger München Riem built the two-form entry elementary school with day care center and green workshop for the City of Munich. The open spaces consist of the large, narrow playground to the south, the two playgrounds between the classrooms, a forecourt and entrance courtyards to the north and a school garden.
The outdoor facilities of the elementary school are recessed into the grounds of Riemer Park, with a low enclosing wall providing seating. The striped pattern of the former runway continues in the schoolyard. Two play areas are designed with colored fall protection surfacing.

To the south-west of the elementary school with day care center is the green workshop with its own entrance and outdoor area.
