The originally somewhat overgrown and run-down wall garden on the edge of the city center between the city wall and Mühlbach stream was redesigned in the course of the renovation and upgraded with a few sustainable interventions. The wall garden is once again an inviting place to linger and blends in picturesquely with the existing historic buildings.
In addition to plantings, such as an ornamental apple on the wall, new, space-structuring seating was created. The large silver maple was retained and the existing porphyry paving was removed and completely reused.
Access has been made barrier-free and a central light well makes the small garden a pleasant place to spend time even after sunset.
