On the slope of Cyriaksburg Castle in Erfurt's ega Park, which is criss-crossed by steps and paths, colorful knowledge stations lure visitors deep into the "knowledge forest". The stations are figurative wooden objects that have a lot to offer. At some, you can learn interesting and curious facts about forest animals, enchanting plant divas or seemingly familiar environmental phenomena by reading, touching, pulling and turning. Other stations make the forest sound, here you can guess animal voices and eavesdrop on tree secrets. And in the bird nesting house as well as in the climbable and accessible nesting box, the usual perspective and proportions are twisted in surprising ways. The "Knowledge Forest" consists of more than 30 objects and experience stations, which are connected to each other via a branched, partially barrier-free network of paths. Small WLAN-supplied areas with hammocks and picnic tables invite you to relax and browse through the "Knowledge Forest App", where you can find out even more or search for food with Wulfred Wurm.
