The forecourt of Dresden's Kulturpalast, right in the center of the city, will be transformed into an urban plantation for one summer. The "Luftwurzeln" will create a completely new urban space and offer room for action and contemplation. Over 200 wooden cubes form a forest of willows, which develop from gray sticks into green trees over the course of the year. They change the climate of the city, bringing coolness and humidity on hot summer days.
