The special feature of the charrette procedure: it is consistently public. Directly at the planning site, interested parties can participate in the charrette at any time, plan for themselves, express their wishes or inform themselves about the status of the planning.

A key goal of the redevelopment in the Schorfheideviertel was and is the formation of neighbourly networks. Interactive planning processes, sponsorships and the creation of identification objects, such as deer or MuFuBoxes, which strengthen togetherness in public and semi-public spaces, contribute to this. The MuFuBoxes in particular offer residents a variety of opportunities to meet. From joint handicrafts and crafts in and in front of the garages to garage flea markets and neighbourhood festivals, a variety of approaches to neighbourly life and neighbourly help are conceivable and expressly desired by degewo AG.
