The campus extension of the Mainz University of Applied Sciences and the student union are integrated into the surrounding landscape through the open spaces. The facilities for bicycle and motorcycle parking as well as the retention areas for rainwater management are integrated into the open space system. Differently designed garden courtyards characterize the student housing complex.
