Jury verdict: One of the few public green spaces, the Brühlgutpark, stands in a changing urban quarter from industry to living and working and on a busy road. A high, eye-catching fence draws attention to the fact that something valuable can be discovered behind it. It makes a clear statement to the street and invites with wide openings to visit.
The new circular path is based on the historic path and spans the central lawn. In it stand, picturesquely arranged, both old and newly planted groups of trees. The border itself is versatile as a seat edge, play furniture or lying level, but at the same time also an eye-catcher and identity piece unparalleled.
The border areas are variously played with seating niches, playground equipment and a colorful fresh perennial planting. The classic elements of a park design are put together in a highly precise, creatively sophisticated manner and yet with great ease.
