A design plan for an area by the residential house (circa 1915) found in the Bremen State Archives as part of the investigation documents the contemporary shift towards architectural geometric style and the reform movement in the case of the Lehnhof as well. The plan was drawn up by the Bremen garden architect Christian Roselius (1871-1945), an equally renowned and productive representative of modernist garden architecture. Roselius had planned numerous private gardens in Bremen and elsewhere at the beginning of the 20th century, including Wätjens Park and the merging of the neighbouring country estates of the Ludwig Knoops family to form "Knoops Park" (1939). The plan for the Lehnhof shows a relatively small garden area to the west of the residential house and the modern design attitude characteristic of Roselius.
On the basis of the pergola shown or the pergola at the right (southern) edge of the planned garden area, the planning can be located precisely on the property. Parts of the pergola were geodetically surveyed as late as 1963 and serve to determine the location of Roselius' design plan. It is not known whether the plan was carried out.
