The interplay of architecture and landscape architecture gives the Suzhou Industrial Park Sports Centre a unique design full of character: a sports valley with meandering paths, fitness courses and play islands reminiscent of a dynamic river landscape is spatially delimited by podium-like elevated sports islands with stepped sports fields and podium plazas, which are crowned by individual stadiums visible from afar.
In contrast to the organic formal language of the inner sports park, the Industrial Park Sports Center is generously enclosed by a linearly designed promenade area along the surrounding streets.
