In 2013, the bdla awarded the German Landscape Architecture Prize for the eleventh time. In the anniversary year 2013 - the bdla celebrated its 100th anniversary - special prizes were also awarded to exemplary projects in the field of "infrastructure and landscape" as well as for outstanding outdoor facilities in the immediate and wider residential environment. The nine-member jury did justice to the quality of the more than 120 entries by awarding the first prize and eight commendations in the main category as well as seven commendations for the two special prizes. First prize was awarded to the project "Park am Löbauer Wasser - Landesgartenschau Löbau 2012", designed by hutterreimann Landschaftsarchitektur GmbH, Berlin/Vienna.
