The area of the former sports field is divided by a direct connecting path
between the street "Am Hofgarten" and the B.-Uthmann - Street into an area
parking lot / meadow and a play and recreation area.
The spatial separation is made by a row of trees and a path accompanying
Gabion, which receives partial seating.
The play area in turn is divided by the existing embankment in 2 differently
designed and usable areas. These are connected by ropeway, slope slide
and sloping climbing ramp. The slope is provided with a coloured
fortification made of fall protection material. The upper playground consists of simple overfilled
commercial concrete elements, such as large pipes and troughs and open
ditches spanned by footbridges, rope bridges and the like. The labyrinth thus
emerging should remind of a tunnel system.
The lower toddler area receives a sand area and an area equipped with stones and logs protruding from the lawn
for climbing,
balancing, hiding, as well as movable play stelae.
The adjacent public green space is visually divided by gabion strips in
smaller spaces, in which, for example, outdoor - fitness equipment are arranged.
