Amorbach School Neckarsulm Outdoor facilities

The extension of the new Amorbach School is placed in a harmonious longitudinal form to the existing old building with a bright inner courtyard. With clear structures of rows of trees and hedges, hornbeams, maples and lime trees, the common areas of the schoolyard are structured. Seating decks, pergolas and tree roofs are ideas for the new open space of the school.

With the existing large group of trees with green and perennial areas as well as with the privet hedge in the background, a 'natural ambience' is designed for the green refectory. A planting strip of dogwood is created in front of the south façade as a distance to the façade and the ground floor rooms.
