HIGH STREETS Bremervörde 2010 - 1st prize in realization

The new design of the Alte Straße is oriented on the one hand to its historical roots and on the other hand to the requirement of forming a clear, strong and self-evident formation. An urban space is reclaimed and the integration of the diverse functions is created in a design-appealing form with its own identity. The planned area - parquet - made of long format bricks extends between the limiting edges of the building and combines them in a new quality as a unified space. On the parquet surfaces in the old street it becomes most beautiful in Bremervörde - strolling, dining and shopping become attractive again.
