The private garden on a slope is located in the transition to the open landscape. By inserting the terrace structures as a landscape element, it is made usable and experienceable.
In addition to the terrace structures, a slope source is staged in a watercourse with inlet and thus underlines the special location on the slope by means of a pond, water stairs, fountain, and water channel accompanying the path. Through extensive surfaces, the garden spaces are incorporated into the design language of the surroundings.

Jury verdict: The garden as a loose finger exercise with the natural potential - through this approach, the author succeeds in developing the unpretentious staging of an open space close to the apartment, offering coordinated diverse images, flowing into the surroundings and thus bringing breadth into what is actually a cramped plot.
The work is particularly captivating through the sensitive play with spatiality as well as the skilful introduction of time and natural dynamics.
