Firmenzentrale Verwaltungsgebäude © Kristof Lange Dupper Landschaftsarchitekten
Awarded in the 'Exemplary Building' award procedure of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects
With the relocation of the KSPG AG company headquarters to Neckarsulm, a new administration building was erected and parts of the plant were reorganised.
The open space is designed with a reduced, clear formal language and choice of materials. It is developed in its linear orientation from the building architecture.
A large square forms the prelude in front of the building, lawn bands blend into the pavement and flank the access area on both sides. Incorporated into the ribbons of lawn, a row of pruned sycamore trees straddles the plaza area. Water bands of carved granite cubes were incorporated into the design as a sculptural part of the plaza.
