Wind energy study Administrative Community Ehingen (Donau)

In 2012, the Donau-Iller Regional Association is updating the designation of priority areas for wind energy use in its regional plan. In the course of an informal preliminary participation, the affected municipalities were asked to comment.

On behalf of the city of Ehingen, 28 proposal areas were comparatively examined with regard to their suitability. View studies visualized thereby in particular the effects on the landscape. As a result, priority areas were recommended to the municipality, which are to be advocated for a designation in the regional plan. Areas that were only suitable to a limited extent or not at all were assessed negatively.
