The site includes the central plaza areas in front of the lecture hall centre and the refectory, 3 inner courtyards with a separate theme, a park with retention areas, a landscape staircase, a viewing pulpit and a stage. The design of areas for an outdoor laboratory and hazardous materials storage are also included, as well as the landscaping of parking lots and circulation areas on the campus site. For the conversion of the former French military hospital as part of the university campus in Trier, an urban development target concept was initially required in addition to the open space planning.
