Schenefeld's politicians decided that the town hall should be open to all citizens and decided to comprehensively tackle the planning of the handicapped-accessible ramp.
We developed the design based on the urban planning analysis of the surroundings and decided to have the steps and ramp made of exposed concrete - a clear material concept that matches the clean lines of the 1960s design of the town hall.
The paving of the large town hall square forms a charming contrast to the artificial forms of the planting and recreational areas.
