As part of the renovation of the institute and the addition of a library, the outdoor facilities were also redesigned. In this context, special consideration was given to the location in the middle of the Black Forest, which is reflected in the scale of the design elements used and in the use of materials. The restraint shown here allows the impressiveness of the scenic backdrop to become effective.
