In the course of the school extension, a multifunctional playground was added in front of the main entrance. The playground is paved with large-format paving slabs. Corten steel framed planting islands accentuate the schoolyard; mighty oaks were preserved. Benches assigned to the planted areas invite to communication. The rear schoolyard area was designed as a mirror image with large-format rows of paving, "gravel, chippings and textured cushions" and equipped with wooden seating elements. Visually appealing ground covers, perennials, trees and shrubs form the green backdrop. Open-pored lawn honeycombs serve as parking spaces for cars.
