Day care centre Amorbach Neckarsulm

The outdoor area for the new building of the daycare center Amorbach in Neckarsulm, is divided into an entrance area and a garden area.
While a small hilly landscape is created in the garden, the entrance area is formally adapted to the building.

The children's garden is crossed by a snake path that ends in a sandbox oval. A second path accompanies the snake path and forms small climbing hills in its bulges. The lawn landscape bordering the path also plays with small hills and hollows.
Along the snake are various play areas: A mud pit with water tap, a
swing, willow houses and of course the sandbox. Between the building and the snake is an open lawn for romping. Along the building runs a narrow strip of lawn, on which there are individual balancing beams.
Each group room has a generous terrace in front with a large sunshade.
Outside the fenced children's garden surrounded by a dense hedge, the building is surrounded by greenery over a wide area. The generous entrance area is determined by a house tree and also offers bicycle storage facilities.
