The Schramm Werkstätten GmbH in Winnweiler extended their company premises of the bed manufacture by an exhibition, production and expedition building.
For this L.A.U.B. developed the generous exterior and traffic installations in the work phases 1-8.
For the development of the new company premises, L.A.U.B. planned a bypass with two truck loading yards that connect to the existing areas. On the east side, an employee car park was created with 40 parking spaces, a turnstile system and a separate access road.
At the same time, a representative outdoor area was designed around the new exhibition building for customers and seminar participants, which is shielded from the production area by a gabion wall.
The clear and bright design of the interior, is continued in the outdoor facilities. The inviting outdoor area with a sandstone-colored, large-format slabbed surface and a modern planting of perennials and grasses can also be used for internal company events.
The bypass is illuminated with pole lights, the entrance and exhibition areas are indirectly illuminated via floor spotlights on the facade.
The compact rainwater from the roof and traffic areas is collected and directed into a vegetated retention trough for infiltration. The bypass and the new employee car park were lined with rows of trees.
In order to integrate the surrounding areas into the landscape, they were sown and shrub hedges of landscape trees were planted on the northern boundary.
