Renaturation of the Isenach Spa Park Bad Dürkheim

For the city of Bad Dürkheim, L.A.U.B. planned the opening of the partly piped Isenach, as well as the associated redesign of the spa gardens.

The "new Isenach" now flows naturally through the Kurpark and along the Saline. Following the spa park, the "new Isenach" is routed as a landscaped water corridor. In total, the stream was opened up along a stretch of 1.5 km, rehabilitated and thus made passable again along its entire length.
In the spa park and along the "new Isenach", an attractive and barrier-free open space design was created.
Access to the water was created in many places and diversely designed water play areas are an attraction for children of all ages and make it possible to experience the Isenach again. Various seating options in the park and by the water invite visitors to the spa park to linger and relax.
