Day care centre Schifferstadt

For the city of Schifferstadt, L.A.U.B. planned the outdoor facilities for the new construction of a 5-group day-care centre.

Around the building, recreational areas and access routes were designed with warm-toned, infiltration-capable paving. The play areas were divided into two parts: For the toddlers, a sand area with a seesaw animal and wooden deck was created, which is shaded by a sun awning. For the older children there is a play area with climbing equipment, slide, swing and a balancing system. A Bobby-Car race track connects the two play areas. In addition, a play area with a minitor has been created as a ball area.
Further features include a trash enclosure, bicycle parking and a tree seat bench with a wooden deck. The entire outdoor area is generously topped with trees and landscaped with robust ground covers and perennials. Various fruit trees invite you to nibble and harvest your own fruit.
