L.A.U.B. GmbH redesigned the surroundings of the outdoor swimming pool for the municipality of Enkenbach-Alsenborn. The planning service comprised the service phases 1-9.
In the course of the open space design, the foundations of the historic Dieburg were uncovered and the outer walls, as well as the former castle tower, were reconstructed with gabions.
In the old wash house in the entrance area, a Kneipp basin was integrated, fed by the open Alsens spring. This area was complemented by various seating and planting beds up to the adjacent kiosk terrace.
The newly created belly run, which receives its water from the overflow of the Kneipp basin, ends at a naturally designed playground, with mud area, barefoot path and various playground equipment.
A steel pergola with information boards and a newly created bike path complete the outdoor facilities.
