Creation of a wetland biotope on the Pleichach in Oberpleichfeld

On a plot of land measuring approx. 0.5 ha on the Pleichach, the course of the stream will be

to increase its self-cleaning capacity and reduce flooding

diverted and widened.

Two feeding ditches will also be included in the planning.

The landscaping work included earthworks to model a
new section of the streambed.

the modeling of a wet or damp hollow as a widening of the new

stream bed, the widening of two temporary water-bearing ditches over a

length of approx. 75 m in total, as well as modeling the surrounding terrain.

Access to the wetland biotope is via the Wü 5 district road between

Oberpleichfeld and Bergtheim.

About 300 m after the end of Oberpleichfeld, the property is

on the right-hand side via a gravel-paved land consolidation path

which merges at the property boundary into an unpaved access road

at the property boundary.
