Outdoor facilities sports hall Untereisesheim

The sports hall is located on the edge of the community of Untereisesheim and borders directly on agricultural land. The design idea was to incorporate the landscape into the outdoor facilities by means of planting and grass strips that interlock with the surroundings. The resulting linear structure is also reflected in the spacious forecourt with its walls, steps and ramps.
The facility is divided into a small playing field with a long jump facility and beach volleyball court, as well as the generous entrance area with a boules court and green areas. The small playing field has a meadow slope supplemented with seating blocks, which interlocks with the adjacent corridor. The surfaces in the entrance area are mostly covered with jointless, bound chippings and are fully seepable. The entrance area is structured by concrete walls and gabions, with generous planting areas and pathways between them.
