In spring 2014, two playgrounds in a residential complex on Boltensternstraße in Cologne-Niehl were redesigned. The jungle theme was chosen for one playground and the harbour theme for the other. Versatile play and climbing combinations invite the children to play. The existing concrete walls at the back of the playgrounds were painted according to the respective motto and now form a very beautiful backdrop. The edging of the sand play areas made of greywacke blocks and coloured rubber and concrete palisades round off the overall impression.
