In the Haarmoos, a Natura 2000 site, a viewing platform and two information houses were built based on a visitor guidance concept drawn up by ecotopics/ LBV/ Biosphere Reserve Berchtesgaden. In this way, visitors are guided to scenic points on their walks through the moss and informed about the flora, fauna and landscape.
In cooperation with Jensen Ingrisch Recke Architekten, Munich (implementation planning).
The two information houses are located at selected points and are constructed in the form of wooden post-and-beam hay barns typical of the area. In this way, they blend into the image of the local cultural landscape. In addition, there are further information boards and benches along the hiking trails. Hidden from a distance between trees, but clearly visible from the path, is the viewing platform with plateau. The footbridge, also a wooden construction, is located on a ridge and is accessible at ground level from the path, while below it is the ridge leading into the fen. From the foremost point of the wooden plateau, laterally protected by trees, one can enjoy a particularly beautiful view over the landscape up to the mountains.
