With this building measure a service road with brook run was to be reorganized.
The street lies in a side valley of the Thuringian forest whereby the brook run leads very different amounts of water. The dry walls of the brook bed were to be rebuilt in the old appearance, a diversion of the water was not possible. The subsoil investigations indicated after 1m depth substantial water accumulation by slope and layer water as well as by the brook.
The brook renewal was built in covered ranges and the narrow road places as trough and in the widened ranges as single walls. After construction, the bank walls and bridges reappear to be sandstone with set back pointing . The supporting concrete elements are not visible.
The road was constructed in bonded construction, as it is regularly flooded by the creek.
As the creek carries significant amounts of wood, leaves, etc. during thunderstorms, 3 cleaning grates were arranged and the road profile was V-shaped. Thus, the creek flows back into the creek bed even during flooding.
