Böckler Park City and skate park

One result of the charrette process carried out by gruppe F Landschaftsarchitekten in Böcklerpark in 2013 was to concretize redesign measures for eight sub-areas. Among other things, the idea of a city and skate square was further developed. This replaced the old access to the park, which was narrow, dark and uninviting. Intensive collaboration with experienced skaters formed the basis for this. The layout and skate elements with different levels of difficulty were developed in several rounds of planning. The benches set up invite not only skaters but also spectators and passers-by - they can use the space on an equal footing. Access to Böcklerpark and the riverside promenade is now much easier to perceive thanks to the open design of the square.
