High school Trudering Outdoor facilities 4-stream grammar school

The new school is situated between a green corridor, a busy road and an area of detached houses. In response to the respective surroundings, differently characterized and usable open spaces are created: A representative forecourt with bus stops on the street, in which urban space and landscaped green space meet, forms the access area. The playground consists of the "break band", which is covered with zelkovias and located in front of the learning houses, and the lowered, modelled play and movement area, which visually merges into the neighbouring green corridor. The edge is formed by a seating step system and the equipment or bicycle room accessible on both levels. Towards the adjacent single-family house development, the school presents itself with a quiet garden area, in which a low courtyard assigned to the workrooms is incorporated. In order to provide the necessary sports facilities for teaching, the nearby district sports facility was upgraded: the running tracks, long jump and shot put facilities as well as an outbuilding for equipment were newly constructed.
