After renovation of an old villa in the south of Erfurt, the outdoor facilities should be completely renewed. The garden should be usable accordingly for the family but also representative for the commercial part.
The access to the garages and the house entrance are covered with granite paving. The reinforced concrete walls necessary for topographical reasons are covered with limestone slabs. The front garden area is orthogonally landscaped with umbrella shaped rock pears, hydrangeas and perennial areas.
Prominent element in the garden is an elongated water basin made of Corten steel. The background forms a cut yew hedge. This representative design element is flanked on the side by a pergola walkway, which provides appropriate privacy and accompanies the path from the roof terrace of the house on the 1st floor to the seating area by the water basin. Intensive lighting with spotlights, which illuminate the existing and new trees and the fountains in the water basin, make the garden an eye-catcher even in the evening hours.
