The new building of the Siloah Clinic is a hospital with 11 specialist departments and 535 beds. In the course of the new construction, the entire property was restructured, taking into account the existing listed buildings as well as the public outdoor space along the Ihme. The newly created green spaces to the east of the new building connect the building with a generous outdoor terrace to the floodplain park of the Ihme.

In the interior of the building, eight differentiatedly designed courtyards, serve not only as eye-catchers but also for orientation in the building. One of these courtyards functions as a walking school for physiotherapy. The roof areas of the 2nd floor as well as the technical centres are extensively greened, the roof terraces can be used by the patients of the adjoining rooms. To the west of the new building, access to the main entrance is via the newly designed clinic avenue, which runs in part along the built-over service yard. In the target planning, this avenue will be continued after the demolition of the old buildings and the development of the storage areas. Two old, preserved chestnut trees in front of the east facade of the historic old building are characteristic elements here, which at the same time stage the current main entrance of the clinic and create a connection between old and new.

The connection to Roesebeckstraße in the north of the property is made by expanding and extending a drive that exists in parts. To the west and north of a historic administration building, new parking spaces were created on the one hand and on the other hand, the development of the buildings was ensured by new paths. In the course of the construction measures, the supply network for the various parts of the building and the new building was comprehensively renewed and extended.

Exterior work was performed between October 2012 and April 2015.
