The site of the new Wertheim Clinic building is divided into different sub-areas. The main entrance area is designed as a square-like area for access and recreation. It is given an open and communicative character. The area is used as a terrace for the café near the entrance. Narrow-crowned trees frame the square to the sides.
The short-term parking lot with 72 parking spaces located south of the building is accessed via Karl-Carstens-Strasse. The service yard contains all functions important for the supply and disposal of the hospital and is connected via its own access road in the area of Karl-Carstens-Straße. The visitor and staff car park in the north of the hospital has 191 parking spaces. Tree plantings between the parking spaces as well as a green wall as visual and noise protection to the neighbouring buildings integrate it into the surroundings.
