The open-air facilities of the Elbe - Jeetzel - Klinik will be realised in two steps. When the new building goes into operation, the immediate surroundings of the building, the service yard, the driveway for patients lying down and the inner courtyards will be completed. The main access road via Hermann - Löns - Straße and a further 110 parking spaces as well as the outdoor terrace will be realised in the following phase after the demolition of the old building. The forecourt at the main entrance will be paved with colour-graded paving in bands. It serves as a meeting point, waiting area with seating and a roundabout for taxis. An avenue of columnar oaks and a ribbon of grasses lead up to the main entrance. Directly adjacent is the café terrace overlooking the surrounding generous landscaped parkland.

The parking spaces are designed with pavers that contrast in surface color with the roadway. Field maples will provide shade here, and low hedges and plantings will frame the parking areas. The footpaths between the parking spaces and the new building run through an open lawn with individual trees. Here, visitors and patients will find more benches in a sunny location. Loose groups of shrubs are planted in a staggered pattern against the backdrop of the pine forest.

The individual design of the courtyards provides orientation for those passing by. Flowering plants, evergreen ground covers and shrubs are combined with different colored gravel and modeling in soft organic shapes. Each courtyard has been painted like a picture and radiates its own character.
