Development of a concept for the resettlement of approx. 2,000 adult lizards, preparation of measures, monitoring of construction measures, advice on environmental issues. As well as the development of a green corridor between future housing estates and the railroad line as a lizard habitat on the former Stuttgart Bad Cannstatt freight yard site
"Dispersal of wall lizards on an area of approx. 4.6 ha to clear the construction site. The relocation affected a lizard population of several thousand animals. The deterrence was carried out in sections over a period of six years. The deterrence steps were based on the requirements of the construction development, taking into account the species protection and legal framework conditions (BNatSchG, BauGB)."
