Horneburg's historic town center offers special and beautiful places with extraordinary potential. With its axial character, Lange Straße is the most important and central part of the historic center. From the Im Sande square in the west to the former castle complex in the east. The narrow street cross-section offers the opportunity to use the Freestreet skylight system. The square floor is defined as clinker paving and the street space in Lange Strasse as reddish, iridescent concrete block. Flowering ash trees shape the character of the new urban space and children play in the fountain field on the square at Burgmannshof.
