Citizen participation Bönischplatz Activating participation, survey and planning café

Our office organized and carried out the participation of residents and commercial neighbors in cooperation with Blaurock Landscape Architects. 166 respondents made their needs and priorities clear. In the planning café, 30 participants developed ideas for design, improved path relationships, greening and quality of stay at Bönischplatz.

The core component of the redesign of the central Bönischplatz in Johannstadt-Nord in Dresden was an activating participation of the population. In cooperation with the office Blaurock Landschaftsarchitekten, our office organized and carried out the participation of the residents and commercial neighbors. A comprehensive survey with 166 participants made the needs and priorities of the population clear. In a later 3.5-hour planning workshop, 30 people dealt intensively with the design possibilities and necessary improvements for path relationships, greening and quality of stay at Bönischplatz. The core statements were incorporated into the further planning.
