On an area of 13 ha and with a total budget of 10 million euros, the Mangfallpark was realized between 2008 and 2010 as part of the Landesgartenschau Rosenheim 2010. Components of the Mangfallpark are open spaces, squares, shoreline designs, play areas, a kayak course and three landscaped walkways consisting of several walking and cycling bridges.

Concept - Landscape walkways from the city into the river landscape
Rosenheim is crossed by several watercourses. In front of the Inn, these bundle into a parallel water system, creating a linear landscape. The aim of the design was to link the city centre more strongly with these linear river spaces of the Inn, Mangfall, Hammerbach and Mühlbach and to make the river spaces tangible. For this purpose - as the backbone of the new park - a system of stone-like structures was developed.
