In the course of the redesign of the Sternschanzenpark sports field, the northwestern entrance to the park was to be opened up in terms of urban development. A large oval square opens up the park and is bordered by three grassy hills. Granite rocks and pine trees set scenic accents and points of attraction. Park with playing field: total approx. 1900 m².
The Sternschanzenpark received a publicly usable sports field with a variety of offers: a large grass playing field, a small artificial turf playing field and an extensive athletics offer were realized. In addition, the spectator stands and floodlights were renewed.
Turf field 64 × 100 m, artificial turf field 40 × 55 m, sprint, long jump, athletics.
