Propstei school Westhausen

Due to the development of the Propsteischule in Westhausen into a community school, a sustainable overall concept was also developed for the outdoor facilities. The first two construction phases have already been implemented and further construction phases are to follow in the next few years.

The redesign of the break yards aimed to create multifunctional spaces that can be used in a variety of ways by students and teachers.
Various seating options, such as a wooden platform and seating blocks made of natural stone, create places of retreat and meeting places. Large open spaces invite students to romp, run and play and also serve as event venues. Planted raised beds divide and structure the playground. Benches and tables under a large umbrella offer the possibility to spend the lunch break outside.
