The neighborhood square at Vogelkamp is one of three significant inner neighborhood squares in the Neugraben-Fischbek development area. Play and exercise facilities as well as areas for free play and neighborhood parties create a high quality of stay.
The square is designed as a self-draining open space. The surface water seeps away decentrally in plant beds. Multi-stemmed birch trees, low willows and summer lilacs characterize the image.
The residential quarter is being developed by IBA Hamburg GmbH in the immediate vicinity of the ecologically important nature reserve and EU bird sanctuary "Moorgürtel" under the umbrella brand "Naturverbunden Wohnen". In principle, the design concept for the design of the neighborhood square supports this guiding principle; the topic of the limited resource "water" is treated sustainably and made a design theme.
