Skater and park facility at Rehrstieg

The Rehrstieg park covers a total area of 18,300 square meters.

The park has three areas with different focuses of use.

The main design element is a play loop, a colorful play path that connects all areas in the park.

The design ideas of Skate Island, an initiative of young skaters from Neuwiedenthal, were further developed into a street skating facility for the area at the Harburg youth café.

The skating facility is made of in-situ concrete with different height levels and ramps. Lawn embankments will cushion the high elements, while the embankments in the south will be planted with extensive vegetation.
