Adi Dassler Stadium, new construction of a sports field with parking lots and service buildings

The Adidas company in Herzogenaurach has built a sports facility in the east of the World of Sports (WoS). This sports facility includes a large football pitch with a surrounding athletics facility/athletics track with 6 running lanes, as well as a grandstand for 1500 spectators and a changing room and operations building. The main use of the sports facility is by employees of Adidas Salomon AG as part of company sports, but larger events with full utilization of the visitor facilities are also possible. Due to the plateau location at the site and the further development of the existing relief, which falls in its main direction to the northeast, the ramparts surrounding the sports field in the west and east could be fitted into the surrounding terrain as clearly defined geometric bodies. With their clear edges, these mark the transition from nature to the newly built site.
