Paulus Children's and Family Centre Design of the outdoor facilities for the new building, competitive procedure, 1st place

The building, which is located in the middle of the site, pushes itself into the topography of the wooded terrain and compensates for the difference in height with an additional base storey in the east. The play with the topography is continued in the design of the open space.
Three areas of use rotate out of the building like slabs: the playable outdoor area for the crèche and daycare centre, the entrance area with forecourt to the family centre and the driver access and kitchen delivery at basement level.
The existing forest in the daycare centre area finds its thematic continuation in the design of the play equipment with climbing grasses and play bird houses.
