Commissioning of work phases 1-9
A playable sea of waves connects two playground areas at different heights. The evenly profiled slope made of bound fall protection granulate overcomes a difference in height of approx. 3 m. It is overlaid by wave-like modelling of varying height and size. A walkable play sculpture with nets and ropes embodies the sea monster emerging from the waves.
Seat steps push out of the staircase, which borders the slope on the side, like wave-breaking groynes into the sea.
The result is a sustainably usable play area that connects the two schoolyards.
