Carpet and lily bed

On the basis of historical photo and plan material the carpet and the lily bed could be restored. They are located in the immediate vicinity of the castle.

The contour planting consists of boxwood, the interior is planted with an annual strawflower, which creates a cushion-like effect. Also planted with boxwood is the framing of the meander bed. The ornamental bands are formed by red-leaved Iresines and Alternatheres.

Blumenbeete

The flowerbeds, which were laid out in a round or oval shape, were destroyed. However, seven of them could be reconstructed according to old plans. They are located near paths, buildings and squares in the Pleasureground. Based on the terracotta flower bed borders found in the small curiosity, six different types could be faithfully reconstructed. They now once again border the flower beds. The seasonal plantings provide for original floral decorations as far as possible.
