Landscape architects take responsibility for successful climate adaptation with their projects: the green space in the city, appropriate redensification, near-natural water retention, the exciting landscape development concept. The fields of action are wide-ranging. Whether it is agriculture or forestry, nature conservation, health, tourism, urban planning, the design of green spaces and residential areas or energy management, the impacts of climate change can be reduced through targeted strategies and measures. In the best case, adaptation measures also make an effective contribution to climate protection.
The online exhibition "Climate Adaptation" shows climate adaptation measures at all planning levels: from the ecological parking lots of the Munich Trade Fair Centre to the new urban district zero:e park Hanover to spatial development strategies in Saxony. Climate adaptation requires innovative concepts, convincing communication and qualified implementation. Landscape architects rise to this challenge ... with success.
