On 15 May 2003, at the International Horticultural Exhibition in Rostock, the most innovative projects in contemporary landscape architecture and their planners were awarded the German Landscape Architecture Prize 2003. The prize went to the project "Stadteingang Aalen: Landschafts-Kunst" by Prof. Jörg H. Stötzer, Stötzer und Neher Landschaftsarchitekten, Sindelfingen/Berlin, and to the offices cet-0, stadt landschaft architektur, Berlin and kunst+herbert, Architekten, Hamburg, for their "Städtebauliches, landschaftsplanerisches Strukturkonzept für Hamburg-Neugraben/Fischbek". Eight projects received an appreciation.
